President Muhammadu Buhari has finally made his first official appointments on Sunday following days of speculations and leaving Nigerians guessing on those to land some key positions in his cabinet.
Garba Shehu until his appointed was the Head of Buhari Media team, a position he maintained after serving as the Director of Media and Publicity of the All progressives Congress (APC), Presidential campaign organisation.In a statement from the presidency a short while ago, the managing director and editor-in-chief of The Sun newspaper, Femi Adeshina was appointed Special Adviser media and publicity, while Garba Shehu was appointed the Senior Special Assistant on media and publicly.
Similarly, Abdullahi Kazaure was appointed as the new State Chief of Protocol. Abdullahi Kazaure is a career Foreign Service official and currently serves in Aso Rock Villa as a Special Assistant (Presidential Matters). –
All the appointments are with immediate effect
